STAFFORDSTOWN in County Meath, Ireland was originally purchased in 1990, and has now been enlarged to comprise 260 acres of prime grazing land, as well as 32 boxes, plus 2 isolation yards. It is used as a base for foals when they have been weaned and until they are ready to be sold, or to go into training as yearlings.
Julian Lloyd manages Staffordstown where stud groom Paddy Moloney’s staff annually increases in number from 6 during Winter and Spring, to 10 during the Sales Preparation Period and throughout the Autumn.
Staffordstown can be contacted via the Lanwades office.
